Am thinking about including something about the P-T sisters in my blog, although concentrating if possible on the women not the books. Although seperating the two will be interesting. However, having seen the breadth and excellence of your stuff it hardly seems worthwhile, along with what Jane Badger has written. However, I shall work my way through the info having read many P-T books myself. But not 104! Have you read Moorland Mousie? I have a few other titles I shall root out for you as they are all pony classics from long ago and favourite books from my childhood. Brilliant blog, thank-you.Andrew Faraday Gileshttp://www.afgiles.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6459893438693440780.post-85987675430311131532009-01-30T19:35:00.000+00:002009-01-30T19:35:00.000+00:00The picture in the book is black and white so it i...The picture in the book is black and white so it is not 100% certain what colour it is. There is no reference to the horse in this book (it just says something like "the author riding Rosebay"). But I do remember reading somewhere that she is grey.

The picture shows both of them tackling a water (cross country) jump, so for that to happen, she must have at least done cross country on it, so you are probably right in saying she did event it.

I hope that helps.pullein-thompson-archivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06875692220143559727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6459893438693440780.post-74342486281426979752009-01-30T19:24:00.000+00:002009-01-30T19:24:00.000+00:00Am I right in thinking that "Rosebay" (as in willo...Am I right in thinking that "Rosebay" (as in willowherb) was a grey? I vaguely have a memory of her riding it in one of my books, I think she used to event it. (I think I'm thinking of an illustration from Fair Girls on Grey Horses, (have I remembered that correctly?) which I cannot find where it SHOULD be in my bookcases.Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05798594086901897654noreply@blogger.com
